My day at the G20 Summit

June 28, 2010 by Marc Gordon divider image

While most people were playing outdoors, having a BBQ, or just enjoying the weather, I went down to the G20 summit in search of trouble.  Did I find any?  You’ll have to watch the newest episode of marctv to find out.

But what I can tell you is that I did find a great lesson to share with you, thanks in large part to the actions of rioters and a very non-committal alternative media guy.

Oh, and for those who want to know more about The Spoke, the only paper in the world with no agenda (yeah, whatever), you can find it here.

Funny, I like you found a person protesting the violent protesting. It wouldve been funny if she wouldve gotten violent! LOL

For sure! I think she was ready to kick some serious ass.

Great episode as usual my friend. I think you hit the underlying message right on the head – when it comes to marketing, or anything else for that matter, it’s all about what the focus is on. This past weekend’s events here in Toronto were crazy, I admit, but the media chose to sensationalize them. As they say…the squeakiest wheel always gets the grease. Kudos to you for a job well done in getting that message across.
