Making a winning contest

August 23, 2011 by Marc Gordon divider image

Running a contest through your company is a great way to increase awareness and get people excited about your products and services. Contests can be easy to do and cost effective making them a powerful marketing tool for any size business.

But like any other marketing venture, if not done right, it can be a huge waste of resources. Or even worse, blow up in your face.

In this episode of marctv, I’m going to share 5 tips with you on how to make a contest that works for you, your business, and your customers.

Plus, in staying with the theme of the show, I’m going to be giving away a Roots Tuff Skin iPad 2 cover. Watch to see how to enter, then send your entry to marc@marctv.net.

Contest Rules:
Send in a photo of you holding an iPad 2 with a marctv screenshot on the device
Winning entry will be selected based on creativity and originality
Winner will be featured as a shootout on a future marctv episode
Prize will be mailed to winner’s address
Prize has no retail value and may not be exchanged
Winner is responsible for additional costs such import duty or taxes
Contest void where prohibited by law
All entries must be received by 5:00pm EST, August 26 2011
