Facebook or Twitter – Should you care?

November 25, 2010 by Marc Gordon divider image

With so many companies thinking that social media is their key to success, I thought it was time to talk to some real experts – companies who’s products and services are only available through the web. So how do they use Facebook and Twitter? And how important do they think they are?

Special thanks to Erin Bury from Sprouter, Lisa Kember from Constant Contact,  Darius from Fresh Books,  Ryan Payne from lushconcepts, and especially Shane Gerard from Enterprise Toronto who let us hassle so many exhibitors.

A truck driver named Hank who blew his knee out? Where do you come up with this stuff!
That said, your interviewees shared some really good stuff: engage with your customers, listen, go where the prospective customers are, and nothing beats real-life relationships (especially if they involve big hugs, I guess!).

    Hey Rickey,

Thanks for the great comment. I will pass is along to “Hank” when I see him.
